We knew this would be one cool little town, which would be right up our street, the minute we drove past the beach, lined with driftwood art. The sign for the township’s name is even made from driftwood!

Aside from the driftwood, why else is it cool?
– It’s the only beachside, full-service and easily walkable township on the West Coast.
– Many artists have their workshops in town, showing off the vibrant art, culture and heritage vibe.
– There are many bars, cafes and restaurants in town with local delicacies and good coffee.
– There’s a mix of mountains, rivers and beach surrounding the town.
If you get a chance to visit it, go!
